Supplier Mapping Enhancement – Bulk Upload via Excel

We’ve introduced a new feature in the Supplier Mapping section — Bulk Mapping of Raw Materials via Excel.

What’s New?

Until now, raw materials could only be mapped to suppliers one by one using the manual interface. With this release, users can now map raw materials in bulk using an Excel upload, making the process significantly faster and more efficient.

How It Works:

  1. Navigate to:
    Supplier > Action > Mapping

  2. On clicking "Map", you'll see two options:

    • Manually – Continue mapping raw materials one by one.

    • Via Excel Bulk Upload – New option to upload mapping data using Excel.


  3. Bulk Upload Process:

    • Download Template:
      Exports all raw materials to an Excel file.

      • The file includes relevant filters (e.g., Unit, Yes/No selectors).

      • It also shows:

        • Raw materials already mapped with the selected supplier.

        • Raw materials mapped at the Head Office (HO) level.

    • Upload Completed File:
      After filling the mapping data in the Excel file, upload it from the same screen to complete the bulk mapping.

    • Errors are going to be visible if any wrong input is added by the user.

Benefits:

  • Saves time by allowing bulk actions.

  • Mirrors the same logic and validations used in manual mapping.
