POS updates


1. New design for payment types on billing screen :

  1. We have introduced a similar UI for the additional payment type, available to both keyboard and touch-screen POS users.



2. Improved printer assignment view :

  1. ​You can now assign items or categories to specific printers with greater clarity, thanks to the new and improved grid view.



3. Auto food ready configuration enhancement :

  1. Previously, the auto food ready functionality applied the same preparation time for "All days". You can now configure it day-wise with separate time settings for each day.



  2. By default this configuration will be set to "All days".

4. Advance order enhancements :

  1. You can now view a detailed bifurcation in the executive summary and order summary reports, showing :

    • Orders with bill numbers (Invoice summary)

    • Orders with memos (Memo summary)

    • Previously due order amounts received today (Due received summary)

5. Minimum advance order amount collection :

  1. You can now set a minimum advance order amount for creating offline advance orders from the POS.



  2. This setting is fully configurable, and by default, there will be no such minimum amount validation applied.

  3. Path to configure : Owners dashboard → management → configuration → outlet configuration → online/advance order → online/advance order configuration → advance order setting



6. Bugs and Fixes :

  1. We've made minor enhancements related to the POS reports' design.

Marketplace service updates


1. Captain application :

  1. Your captain will now receive a notification for every successful payment made by customers via the Dynamic QR code printed on the bill.
  2. You can now accept or reject Swiggy Dine-in QR code orders directly from the Captain application.

2. Token Display application :

  1. We have enabled a new configuration in your TDS application that allows you to choose whether to display the bill number or KOT number on the TDS dashboard. However, in the case of dine-in orders, the TDS dashboard will always display the kot number (token number).
  2. Additionally, we have introduced a workflow that lets you configure whether to announce the KOT number or bill number during the “food ready” event in your TDS application.

3. KDS application :

  1. Your kitchen staff can now view item images on the Windows KDS, if the images have been added from the POS. This feature supports delivery, pickup, and advance orders.
