This document aims to inform you about some of the latest and exciting updates in Android POS

POS updates


1. Introducing Logo functionality : Android POS

  1. We are excited to announce the highly requested feature to print logos from Android POS devices (mobile, tablet, or POS machine) connected to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi printers.
  2. You can now upload your logo via the owner’s dashboard to have it printed on the bill.
  3. Path to configure logo : Owners dashboard → configuration → outlet configuration → billing screen → set your print logo

2. Zomato Walker Orders :

  1. Zomato is excited to announce a new feature designed to enhance your ordering experience. As an outlet owner, you can now track whether your online order will be picked by the Zomato Walker or not. This dedicated team of walkers will handle orders from outlets situated within malls or large complexes, ensuring that your food is efficiently transferred to the Zomato riders waiting outside the premise. This update aims to streamline your delivery process and improve overall service.
  2. On the Petpooja POS, you will be to track the Zomato Walker order with the help of an icon as displayed below :

3. Manual Day-End functionality :

  1. In most of the cases, it is considered as a bare minimum mandatory requirement for the outlet’s staff members to perform manual day-end before they leave. But in case of Android POS we don’t have this option since day 1. This creates a huge problem for the staff as well as the management of the outlet to calculate the cash-in and cash-out.
  2. Manual day-end functionality shall work rights based.
  3. Path : Owners dashboard → user management → biller app



  4. You will also require to enable the configuration for manual day-end.
  5. Path : Owners dashboard → configuration → outlet configuration → billing screen → connected services → Day End Settings




Minor fixes


1. Reelo tier-based loyalty :

  1. We have resolved an issue where users were unable to apply loyalty points, despite the loyalty being configured on the third-party platform.
