POS updates


1. Send Bills via WhatsApp :

  1. You can now seamlessly send customer bills directly on WhatsApp by integrating with the third-party Green Receipt service.
  2. Path : Owners dashboard → marketplace → integration → customer updates → Green receipt

2. Urgent Order Visibility :

  1. We've improved the visibility of urgent orders across all online ordering platforms. Urgent orders are now clearly marked on the order card, making them easy to identify at a glance. This allows your staff to prioritize these orders and ensure timely preparation and delivery.

3. Discount validation support : 

  1. You can now enable a discount validation on the discount applicability as per your convenience. This means that the system will check before applying the item/category level discount.
  2. Auto discount is applicable only when an item is added to the KOT/Bill at that specific time if an auto-apply discount is enabled.
  3. Path : Owners dashboard → menu management → menu & discounts → all in one menu → discounts


4. Train Order Tag for Swiggy :  

  1. Swiggy orders placed from a train will now be clearly tagged as Train Order for better visibility and tracking.



5. Unique sound for priority online orders :

  1. We have introduced a new sound alert for priority orders coming from online order platforms. This is designed to signal urgency in the restaurant, ensuring that your staff is aware of these important orders. Currently, this ringtone will be used for "Swiggy Bolt" and "Zomato Instant" orders. If you find the new sound uncomfortable, you can easily switch back to the regular alert.
  2. Path to configure custom sound : POS → management → configuration → settings
  3. URL to hear the sample ringtone.

6. Online Order Auto-Acceptance Configuration :

  1. A new setting has been introduced at the POS level, allowing you to enable auto-acceptance of online orders directly from your POS system. 





7. Smart Navigation for Online Orders :

  1. If there are any unaccepted online orders, you will be automatically redirected to the "Pending Orders" screen.
  2. If there are new orders in the online orders, then you will be redirected to the "ALL" Online Orders screen for a smoother workflow.



8. Improved Pending Order Count for Auto-Accepted Orders :

  1. When auto-accept is enabled, the pending online orders badge count will now decrease only when the "Mark Food Ready" button is pressed, ensuring accurate tracking of order status.
