This document aims to inform you about some of the latest and exciting updates in Android POS 

POS updates


1. Introduction of BOGO discount type :

  1. We've enabled the functionality to redeem "Buy One Get One" discounts on the same items within the Android POS.
  2. This enhancement allows you to create and provide BOGO offers on identical items, providing greater flexibility in your promotional strategies.
  3. The existing BOGO functionality will not be supported in the following scenarios : after print modifications, situations involving higher or lower amounts, and instances where multiple BOGO offers are applied to the same bill.
  4. Path to configure : Owners dashboard → Menu Management → Menu & discounts → Discounts

2. Due payment settlement from web :

  1. You can now conveniently settle outstanding due payments via the web interface, provided that the user has been granted the necessary permissions.
  2. Path : Owners dashboard → User management → Admin management



3. Settlement of Pickup/Delivery orders :

  1. We have enabled the settlement option for the Pickup and Delivery orders now. This will allow you to settle the orders right after the orders are created.

4. Advance order KOT print :

  1. To optimize kitchen operations and avoid unnecessary KOT print, we've made a change regarding advance orders. Now, the KOT will be printed automatically when you click "start preparing" from the advance order section or manually request KOT print from KOT section.
  2. This adjustment aims to streamline processes while ensuring efficient kitchen management.

5. Renaming the Online Menu ON/OFF :

  1. We've revamped the "Online menu configuration" page to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. It's now called the "Online menu on/off" page.



6. Settle due payment via Bijlipay EDC : 

  1. We're pleased to announce that you can now effortlessly clear all outstanding due payment bills using the Bijlipay EDC device.

7. Visibility of Online order number :

  1. You can now view the online order number as a search filter on the Order listing page.

Improvements and Fixes 


1. Get past orders - UI changes : 

  1. Several enhancements have been implemented to the "Get Past Orders" section, offering a more intuitive and user-friendly interface.

2. Part-payment settlement - Save orders : 

  1. We have enhanced the handling of partial payment scenarios for saved orders.
