Objective

To increase internal department transfer accuracy through proper department selection and raw material availability.

Functional changes


From the department filter


  • This filter represents the department available in the restaurant from which you are raising a purchase order.

  • This filter is newly added it represents for which department you are raising a purchase order.Users will select the department from which the purchase order is being raised.




To the Department of filter


  • This filter represents the seller’s department to which the purchase order is directed.

  • When a specific kitchen (e.g., Central Kitchen 2) is selected, the filter dynamically shows the list of departments available in that kitchen.






Checkpoints before saving the purchase order


As we all know, if we select restaurant or kitchen, we are shown their raw material master's data in req for purchase, but if that raw material is not available or mapped in restaurant, the system will display this pop-up, indicating which raw materials are not available or mapped.


Pop up visible in these cases=

  • If raw material is not available in the restaurant.

  • Raw material is available in restaurant but not mapped in a particular department.




Effect of this change on seller’s sales or transfer page

We added a label indicating that user raised PO from which department and for which department.
If the user is making direct sales, we will present restaurant departments. 








Note=Department selection is right-based. If the user does not have access to a specific department, he will be unable to submit a request for purchase, sales, or purchases.
