Delegate Department wise inventory Module Rights to otherUsers
These changes are aimed at enhancing flexibility, security, and control for managing inventory and branch-level operations.
1. Permission Enhancements for Child Users
Previously, only the main user (e.g., the Owner) had the rights to access and modify the following modules:
- Department Master: Creating and managing department structures.
- Department Mapping: Mapping departments to specific operational needs.
- Department Branch Mapping: Associating departments with branches.
What's New?
The main user can now assign specific rights to child users (e.g., managers or staff) for these modules. Child users can be granted permission to:
- View these modules.
- Edit and make changes within these modules.
2. Modification Logs for Enhanced Transparency
To ensure accountability and traceability, we’ve introduced detailed modification logs for the Department modules.
- Any changes made to the Department Master, Department Mapping, or Department Branch Mapping modules will now be automatically recorded.
- These logs will provide information such as the user making the change, the time of modification, and the specific updates made.
3. Default Rights for Child Users
By default, child users do not have access to manage department-related configurations. As shown in the screenshot:
- User Management Rights are disabled by default.
- The main user must explicitly enable these rights for child users if needed.
