Previously, wastage could only be recorded item-wise or raw material-wise. With this update, you can now log wastage at the addon level as well.
How it works:
Go to Wastage > Add Wastage > Item-wise Wastage
You will now see a toggle button beside each item.
Click the toggle to expand and add addon-level wastage below the respective item.
Tip: If you only want to log wastage for addons (and not the main item), enter 0
as the item quantity and then add addon wastage.
To ensure accurate inventory tracking, we’ve modified the old setting:
“If raw material stock is negative, would you prefer that a user complete sales or a transfer?”
This option is now extended to wastage as well.
If the raw material stock is negative or the wastage quantity being added exceeds available stock, the system will restrict the user from adding wastage, similar to the rules on the Sales and Transfer pages.
You can enable or modify this setting from Inventory Settings > other setting
You can now upload images while adding wastage entries.
Maximum 3 images per raw material can be added.
Useful for maintaining a visual audit trail of damaged, expired, or spoiled items.
Where to use:
Go to Wastage > Add Wastage
Upload images for each raw material entry
Images will be stored and viewable later on the Wastage page
