Update : Changes done in printer sync , which is helpful in issues arising from POS migration (between windows based and android based)
Issue faced by the operations team
When a merchant has migrated from Android POS to Electron POS, all the printers which were created in Android gets synced when the outlet has updated it to Electron. This would lead to the printer not working properly . This additionally lead to the support team to delete all the printers and add the printers again . Once the printers are added afresh, the invoice printing runs smoothly.
What has been done to solve this issue ?
When the printer is synced in the web, we have added the source whether the printer was added in electron POS type or android PoS type . Once the user is using electron version, printers used for electron POS type would be synced and printers added in other POS type would not be synced,
This would help in reducing the disruption at the outlet as well as support team would now be getting less calls and emails for the case of migration
